The amazing skinnyCorp, purveyors of fine websites such as Threadless, Naked & Angry, and ExtraTasty, are making some important moves with their online music project 15 Megs of Fame. In order to accomplish everything we envisioned for this project, we have some new partners who will help us offer so much more to the 15 Megs of Fame community! Now we need YOUR help! We're looking to assemble a small team of the best developers and designers in the NYC area. Think you’ve got what it takes? See below! Drop us an email with your resume, links to your work, a hilarious or tragic story from your youth, shirt size, and 500 words on why MacGyver was the best show on TV to hireme@skinnycorp.com

General Requirements:

Motivated and able to work in a team while still being highly independent
Hugely creative, expert problem solver
Must be good at having fun while you are working
Certifiable insanity is a definite plus
Must love what you do and rule at it!

Developer Requirements:

Expert at PHP. No really... EXPERT. I’m talking, the Norm Abrahms of PHP.
Must have understanding of web application design patterns
Must have understanding of AJAX design patterns
Experience in programming scalable websites (must show examples)
Expert at HTML/CSS
Level 40 Spellcaster JavaScript skills. Prototype is for pansies!
Familiar with SQL and Postgres databases
Proficient in ActionScript/Flash
Knowledge of Photoshop to cut up designs
eCommerce knowledge a plus

Designer Requirements:

Expert at Photoshop and Illustrator.
Familiar with designing for all types of code (HTML, CSS, Javascript (AJAX), etc)
Flash skills are a huge plus, but at least understand how Flash functions to be able to design for it.
Solid understanding of IA… it should put you in the mood. Oh, yeah.
Be a UI design maniac! The Maverick and Goose of UI… COMBINED!
Experience in designing scalable websites (must show examples)
Print design knowledge a plus, but not required

Are you ever going to need people to make music videos for the bands?

I know probably a long shot but I'm desperate to move out of the UK and to America and my qualifications would be in media production which basically means I can do sound lighting, editing, filming storyboarding some script writing and depending on the course I might have experience in radio.

The only way I can realistically move ot America is if a company fills out the forms so I can get a work visa.
